The Somalia Youth Climate Platform (SYCP) has significantly enhanced the coordination and collaborative partnerships among youth organizations, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the private sector, and UN agencies. Through improved coordination and support for collaborative partnerships, the SYCP has facilitated discussions and exploration of collaborative opportunities between youth organizations and the key relevant institutions. These collaborations have fostered effective youth participation and, more importantly, strengthened the collective efforts. This unity and determination are crucial in addressing Somalia’s climate challenges.
